Team 168's voices echoed the gym at Stranahan High school yesterday as our robot dominated and failed on the field. All the rookies came out to support our team as the Drive Team (Enrique, Ignacio, Katya, Mendy and Ian) drove Eleanor to their best ability. Sadly we only won one match but our team still cheered in the loudest optimism including the president who just about fully lost his voice.
As most of the team left we were called to the field as a back up bot and were almost put in as Team 1523 MARS blew their transmission. But through gracious proffesionalism, the red alliance which included Think Pink and SPAM called a time out so MARS could attempt to fix their robot. We stood there both hoping they would fix it and that we could play. The adrenalin was pumping as I stood there and was sure MARS wouldn't make it. But here at FIRST miracles do happen. They fixed it with mere seconds to spare.
We still cheered on. And when it came time for the awards we were sure we would get team spirit but team 1841 was awarded the title. But we still had an amazing day and now we are all pumped for the Season.
GO TEAM!

Programming
We have a blog, woot. Well, I've been practicing C++ every day, so hopefully by the time I need to actually program for the robot, I'll be skilled enough to do a decent job. Thanks to Jason for getting me into programming.
